Pros: Seems to run and run and run requiring only minor repairs. Very cushy and comfortable.
Cons: You have to shout for people in the back seat to hear you.
The Bottom Line: Very reliable and long-running
Review: I bought my Lincoln Town Car with a few thousand miles on it in 1999 and have been driving it ever since, (I'm writing this in September 2008). It now has approx. 225,000 miles on it and still runs like a top. I've developed a powerful love for this car. ...

Pros: Handling, luxury, room
Cons: CD player in trunk
Review: When my husband first told me he wanted us to get a Lincoln Town Car my first thought was that it was an old people car! I thought it was one of those vehicles you got when you were old enough to apply for your Social Security. Boy, was I wrong! This is...

Pros: Superb styling, excellent handling, high fuel economy, roomy interior, very large trunk.
Cons: Road and exhaust noise, unsatisfactory front seat foot room.
The Bottom Line: I would rate the car as excellent overall simply because it is! My complaints are minor and would apply to almost all cars. Fact is,no car is perfect!
Review: The 1999 Lincoln Town Car Signature series has some great things going for it. The styling is unequaled, in my opinion, and certainly far better than the equal Cadillac. The car we have has 43,000 miles and has been extremely dependable. We bought the...

Pros: Quiet, Styling, Roominess, Elegance, Ease of Operation, Excellent Fuel Economy
Cons: NONE
Review: Up until 1987, I was a staunch Cadillac man. Every three to five years depending on how well I liked the Caddy I currently owned, I would trade for a new one. Never once did I ever even consider a Lincoln.
Well, in the 1980's Cadillac was... |

Pros: Great ride, decent mileage, low maintenance
Cons: Steering wheel hides some of the gauges
Review: The 1999 Town Car Signature Series, is our sixth Lincoln, going back to the 1985 model. The dealer made a good offer the day that I took our '97 in for service. Since the '99 had a moon roof and heated seats we became interested in what he might want to...

Pros: Value, value, value
Cons: Fresh design, but still large American car
Review: I am one of the younger buyers (relatively speaking) that Lincoln is trying to get into their cars with the new designs starting in 1998. My wife and I have owned many sedans over the years, mostly S-class Mercedes. While it is unfair to compare other...

Pros: size, comfort, safety, dependability, service from dealer
Cons: sometimes hard to park
Review: This is my second Town Car. The first was a '97. The quality of both cars is above what I originally expected. The most wonderful part of owning a Lincoln is the quality of care given the owner as well as the car by the dealership.Regular maintenance...

Pros: big and roomy
Cons: none
Review: The Lincoln Town Car is a big car. The ride in the town car is exceptionally smooth and easy to handle. I found the handling took a little while to get used to. The steering is extremely responsive and over steering could be a problem. The interior...

Pros: everything
Cons: none
Review: Recently I rented the Lincoln Town Car, and found that this car was one of the most luxurious cars that I have ever driven. Being a tall person, space was a big factor. The car handled extremely well even in very wet and windy conditions. Not to...

Pros: World class interior, Bold styling, fair gas mileage, Decent acceleration.
Cons: Could use around 50 more horses, Horrible resale value.
The Bottom Line: Recommended for anyone who loves traditional American luxury with high tech influence. I would have rated the Town Car with 5 stars if it had a little more power.
Review: The Lincoln Town car has always been one of those luxury vehicles that just focused on taking a person from point A-B in slow motion luxury. So what about the 1999 models? Ford has given the Town Car a makeover for the 1998 model year; is it ...
