Hits Hard!

I bought the Lightning Audio B.150.2 Amp from Best Buy. The amp was easy to install. I currently have it hooked up to one 12" Jensen 525 watt subwoofer. I had the amp hooked up to two 6 by 9" speakers but the amp had to much power for them and kept making them pop. Also another good thing about this am is it has an automatic safety shut off switch. When it has to put out to much power or when there is a bad connection to a speaker, it will automatically shut off the amp instead of frying it. I had that happen to me many times when it was hooked up to my 6 by 9's. I have not had any problems with it shutting off since I bought the sub. The amp has many features from a 6-db bass boost (juice boost) to a cross over.
I was surprised at the amount of bass this amp could produce with the type of speakers and cheep quality wire that I installed it with. I have almost blown the 525-watt sub a few times so far. When this amp is turned up and the 6db is turned on, you can really feel it. The dome light in my car rattles and so does a bunch of other things like mirrors.
The only down side that I have found out with this amp is that it uses a lot of power from the car. When the headlights are on and the amp is turned up the lights just about go out from the amount of current the amp draws. However, this can be fixed by installing a capacitor, which is recommended for just about every amp.
