Is the X6170 worth it?

The Bottom Line: I do not recommend this printer. The paper jams and the hardware error I keep getting make this product unreliable to me.

Lexmark X6170C's would be great if they'd keep working!

The Bottom Line: I recommend avoiding this unit. I wish I could recommend it, but I literally spent as much time trying to keep it printing as I did using it.

A really terrible printer

The Bottom Line: DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER EVEN IF THERE'S A GUN TO YOUR HEAD. DEATH IS PREFERABLE TO THE FRUSTRATIONS YOU WILL NO DOUBT EXPERIENCE.
Review: I bought this piece at Best Buy for $174 after rebate. It's handsome, emits a lovely blue glow and is easy to install. I was pretty pleased with the scanner. But the printing - the main intended function of this machine - is lackluster at best.
