I work from a home office, and a reliable printer is definitely a necessity! After my old printer bit the dust, I began my search for a new inkjet printer.
After endlessly comparing at multiple stores, I finally settled on the Lexmark X4875. Initially the sleek design caught my attention. Upon further inspection, I noticed it was WiFi ready, and had a nice LCD display screen, all nice bonuses for a printer under $150!
Some of the other features include:
* 30 pages per minute for Black/ 27 for color
* 2 sided printing
* Photo Editing on 6cm LCD screen
* Photo Printing direct from a memory card, USB Flash drive, or PictBridge enabled cameras
* High resolution scanning
* One touch controls for basic functions like copying and printing.
I found set up of the printer extremely easy. Simply pop in the installation CD and follow the directions. After initial unpacking, and alignment, the installation CD walks you through a very simple install of the printer software. You will then be prompted to attach the printer through a USB cord (which is provided), or through a wireless network. No restarts were necessary. It took under 30 minutes!
The printer and photo editing software is very easy to use, and appropriate for a beginner.
Overall this printer has been wonderful for both personal and business use. The quality of printed items and photos are comparable to those printed on the expensive models.
