Cheap Printer

Overall-good value for $26.

Accepts black and color ink cartridges (comes only with color). Accepts high yield ink cartridges for lower cost printing per page.

Reasonably fast for text and graphics at this price point. Print quality could be better.

Except for following problem, I am happy with mine:
When printing black text on same line with color text (using color and black ink cartridges installed), it prints the black text with green ink when printing in "quick print" mode. When printing in "normal" mode, black text is printed with black ink. If no colored text is on line, black text prints correctly.

Problem seems to be driver related. Lexmark support not helpful.

I would advise using #34 and #35 print cartridges for lower price per page than #28 and #29.

Even with above problem, I will probably keep my Z1300. I will probably use the "normal" print mode anyway since the "quick print" is so hard to read.
