Lexmark X9350 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I bought this wireless all-in-one last summer, spending more than comparable printers of other brand, and about the same as the DELL model. I would never buy another.

At least half of the time the unit shows printing status of 35 to 99% and then just sits there. No error message. When trying to scan, it works half to a third of the time. Generally it just flips back to the start prompt, no error message.

I spent over an hour with tech support but they couldn't resolve the problems. Finally, they told me to reinstall the software which I did. Within a day, the problem began again. This happens with every computer in our house. Re-installing the software is a pain because you have to physically connect the printer to each computer unit and reinstall the software on each computer. For us, that means carrying the wireless printer to the desktop on the upper floor. The laptop we can take to the printer. We bought a wireless printer so we didn't have to concern ourselves with multiple printers. We truly don't overwork it--maybe 2-4 pages a day, sometimes much less.

I've had HP,Dell,Compaq and Lexmark printers. I've not had problems in the past.
