Failed after first use!

Card seemed to work well with brand new Canon Rebel XT for about 400 initial shots with good speed on burst frames. On my next photo trip, camera showed a CF error for the LEXAR card, my SanDisk card worked fine. No luck in a card reader, Lexar support says "i think may be the card has gone defective" but they'll replace it in about 2-3 weeks. No refund offer even though I've had the card less than a month. They did give me a reassuring -probably won't happen again- to make me feel confident about continuing to use their card...ha! Searching the internet I found LEXAR had a major recall in 2005 due to incompatiibilties with Canon cameras on a previous 2GB product. Wish I had known before I bought LEXAR...never again!
