by   rockstarleon ,   Aug 9, 2001

Pros:  Good cast and great action

Cons:  Too much like the original

The Bottom Line:  A great watch and any fans of the original will be pretty pleased.

Overall Rating: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

Just 2 years after the Lethal Weapon Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are back for a another smash hit film.

This time Riggs has another admirer, only Murtaugh's daughter who appears on a condom advert to the delight of her family! The film's plot is simple. A drug dealer is in town and only the best cops can get it sorted. An original plot to say the least. But a good side is that Riggs has lost is sense of humor in the film due to the fact that his fine lady friend has been killed which really opens up a serious scene. The film is slow paced like the first, it gets straight into the action, which I liked. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are once again in fine form and the film is worth a look.
