Legend of Dragoon for PlayStation 1

This game is different from other RPGs. There are awesome movies in the game. There is a very different battle technique (oh wait, no other RPGs have any technique).

For those of you saying "well isn't this great, another RPG" don't walk past it because it isn't just another RPG. Legend of Dragoon has a unique battle system. When you attack an enemy you will have to time your button pushing or else your attack will be really weak. Another thing is that if the squares go orange and you push X instead of circle you will take damage instead of the enemy so you have to stay alert.

As for some of the complaints about this game I don't agree with all of them. For example someone was complaining about the transforming into Dragoon form takes too long (about 30 sec) this is true except that that goof didn't realize that you can change the settings so it takes only about 2 seconds. Another complaint is that the movies are awesome but that they are rare. Now unfortunately this guy is right so don't buy it expecting movie after movie.

Now to the heart of the game. Dart is your main character. He is the dude with the wild pointy hair and that red chest armor. Shana is his "friend" who is a hot girl who really like Dart and Dart likes her but they won't admit it. The motivation for Dart to go around beating up things is the Black Monster who fried his home town when he was a wee lad and now he wants revenge. I won't spoil the story for you but you will be quite surprised about who the Black Monster is.

This is one of those games to buy because you will spend just as much $ renting it (This sucker is 4 discs long so put some time aside). This game looks pretty weird and trust me I am not into all of this dragon power junk but this is a really awesome game.
