Not a reliable amp, but does put out gobs of power

It was alot of power for cheap...so yea, I bought it =). After hearing good things about the lanzar OPTI line, I figured what the hell...can't be that bad?

It actually ran fine for about a month, I had it on a pair of magma12's. Got dam loud....this amp definitely put out alot of power.

I liked the look..the red lighting matched my red car perfectly. It has a really nice design to it.

The insides were pretty beefy, pretty well made. This amp's build surprised me.

As I said, not very reliable. It did die on me after about a month...went into protection and never came out. Didn't puff the magic smoke, didn't make any strange noises...it just flat out shut off one day while listening, and not even loud. I had it turned down low, and I was talking to a friend of mine...we were on the way to a competition (lol) and I go to turn it back up, and there is no bass!

Got off the highway...and pulled into some parking lot. Fooled with it for a good half hour, and it would not come out of protection. Good thing I had it for less than 30 days...otherwise I would have just been out my $225 (or so).

It was replaced with one of the 4 channel viberant amps and 2 audiobahn aw150q's...the amps was never used on those subs, it was traded for a fosgate 700s. The 700s and the abahns was a great setup..that was sold, and replaced with the magma12's (again) but this time with a lanzar d3000m amp (GREAT AMP!). I got 4 of those amps...traded 2 for a pair of shocker extreme 15's. The shockers and the other 2 lanzars was one LOUD setup.

Right now, I'm running 4 kicker dx700's and 2 cerwin-vega stroker 15 d2's...firing straight through the (removed) rear deck/back seat..in my 99 monte carlo. Now THAT is a loud setup :)

As for the VHC...its a definite DO NOT buy. Get the d3000m instead :)
