...And I'll Be Taking This One Back...
Pros:
Updated, sleek appearance, with automatic shut-off safety feature. Probably adequate for a smaller room.
Cons:
Does not heat as well as the Lakewood 7096, which costs only $5.00 more.
The Bottom Line:
For a very small room, this might be an adequate heater. However, I would suggest purchasing the superior model, which is the Radiator-style Lakewood.

Author's Review
A couple of years ago, I reviewed the Lakewood Radiator Heater 7096 (here on Epinions) and stated that if I needed another space heater, that is the kind I would buy. So, why didn't I? Well, I have to admit that when I went to Walmart to buy another heater, that was my plan. THEN, I saw that Lakewood had this new model, which looked very updated and modern. It was also $5.00 less than the upright version. I pondered and pondered. I put the tried-and-proven one in my cart. I continued standing there, reading the box for the Low Profile heater. The box sold me. I took out the upright heater and replaced it with the Lakewood 750.
Fifteen minutes later: I'm home and opening the box. Wow! This heater is FULLY assembled. All I have to do is plug it in. I do so and immediately feel warmth coming from the top. 'Awesome,' I think! As the box states, this heater pulls cool air from the floor and circulates warm air. I am impressed. This heater is oil-filled and gives off no fumes or flames to be concerned about.
Upon further checking of the heater, I am even happier. The heater has very convenient built in handles on each end. This makes it possible to easily move the heater, even if it is being used. The controls are all conveniently located on the top right and easy to get to. The two-heat selector switch gives you the option of choosing 900 or 1500 watts. Directly beneath that is the adjustable thermostat, which has on/ off settings. Possibly, most impressive to me about this heater was the Automatic Safety Temperature Limit Control. This feature shuts down the unit if it gets too hot and at that time, the Caution Indicator Light will illuminate. The unit automatically resets itself to begin heating again after cool-down. Because I use my space heaters during the night while my family is asleep, this feature was very comforting to me. The heater stayed on all night. All through the night I was cold. This heater did NOT radiate heat throughout my large bedroom as adequately as the other one (Lakewood 7096) did. I was very disappointed.
The next morning, I went to my son's room, where the two-year old Lakewood radiator style heater was being used. It was toasty warm in there. I will be returning this heater and exchanging it for another Lakewood 7096.
To be fair to this model, I feel that it would probably be adequate for heating smaller rooms. It certainly has its advantages, as listed above. I will continue purchasing Lakewood products as I feel they are high-quality units. Lakewood has been in business for over 50 years, and this product was made in the USA, which is important to me.
