This heater is noisy

Bought this heater from mail order and arrived a few days later no shipping damage to packaging. Unpacked and set up in minutes. Nice ergonomics. However compared to other baseboard heaters I own there are several disadvantages. The thermostat is noisy. I can actually hear it clicking loudly on and off. But that is not the only noises that eminate from this heater. It CLANKS LOUDLY on heat up and heat down. CLANK, CLANK, CLANK, ALL NIGHT LONG. Took the heater apart, redid a few of the screws holding the heating assembly together helped the CLANKING, but the thermostat still makes noise. I have Several Cadets that are COMPLETELY noiseless that are the same liquid filled and they do not make a sound. For that reason I can not recommend.
