No Customer Service. None.

Pros:  Cheap, worked well WHEN it worked, heats the whole room.

Cons:  Slow to heat up a room, non-existent customer service.

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars

Author's Review

I recently bought this heater at Walmart for about $35. I really liked it at first, because it was cheap, totally silent and it worked well. It also seemed safer than the coil type heaters.

About a week after buying the thing it started making noises like oil was 'popping' inside. The instructions say to call customer service it the heater made any extra noises in a 'Safety Alert.'

I called, but there is no live help, you have to leave a message and they (theoretically) call you back. I also sent an email to the address given in the brochure.

I still have not heard from them, and this isn't exactly a situation where I want to wait (it's cold).

So, because of the absence of assistance, I would not only recommend you NOT buy this heater, I would recommend you not buy ANYTHING manufactured by Lakewood. Luckily I bought mine at Walmart, because it's going back.
