fantastic machine

This washing machine replaced my 12 year old ASKO washer, my only regret that I didn't do it sooner. The ease of use and speedy wash cycles are phenomenal. It has an internal water heater for the sanitary wash cycle and for utilizing the correct water temperature for each individual cycle. The capacity compared to my old machine is mind boggling,I haven't been able to wash my queen comforter at home in ages and now I've washed 3 in one week, not to mention the same afternoon, wearing my pj's. It has a load size sensor that determines the correct amount of detergent use for each load by the weight of what you put in (only works with dry clothes; if you put in something wet you must guess as to the size load), and the spin-sense feature is great. My machine is in a laundry room in a ranch style house where the living area is really the second floor. With the spin-sense feature activated it is so steady and quiet that it is barely noticeable in the rooms adjacent to the laundry room while in the spin cycle. It has a delay start feature as well as an audible dingle tune (which can be silenced) when it is finished with the load. I bought this machine at Best Buy and received great service as well as efficient delivery. I did purchase the extended warranty only because of the bad luck I had in the past with my ASKO. I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a new front loader. I'm really impressed with this product.

1/02/08 Here is an update on my washing machine. After 2 months of use I am still in love with this machine. I still highly recommend it.

4/1/08 Still going strong and lovin' it. It has been getting quite the workout too. Lots of comforters this winter have been washed from twin through to king. I seem to be the one that everyone comes to now instead of the laundromat because of the size and cleaning ability of this machine. The only quirk that I have found is that once in a while the audible dingle tune turns itself off and is easily reset with the push of the appropriate button. I have a feeling my cat while jumping up hits the button and shuts it off on me!

9/21/08 It has been almost 1 year since the purchase of this machine and I still love it like the day it was delivered. I have experimented with a bunch of the combination of cycles and have been very happy with the results. I did recommend this and the dryer that I reviewed to my sister-in-law and she is just as happy with the both machines. I would still recommend them highly even after 1 year of use.
One thing the I would like to mention is that after using the machine during the day I do put a magnet with a hair bungie hooked to the door closer between the door and machine body to give the drum a chance to air out. With my previous front loader I did have a musty smell when it was closed completely when not in use so I have done this magnet/bungie thing from the start. I also passed the hint along to my sister-in-law who also does this and neither of us has a moldy/musty issue with our machines.
