Author's Review

We purchased this LG LH-T754 Home Theater system about two years ago through Circuit City.  We were very impressed with the quality and sound, through granted... we are not tech-gurus. It sounded great and looked great to us.

However, about 1-year into ownership, the DVD player began to stop recognizing DVDs. Sometimes it would play them, other times not.  Sometimes it would start to play them, then go "scrambled" and stop.  Washing/cleaning the DVDs sometimes worked, but now more often than not, it's not recognizing DVDs anymore.  Perfectly clean, brand new DVDs are now no longer working.

I'm not so happy with it anymore, and am shopping for another system.  While some folks may like to buy new systems every few years, I don't. I like to keep my products for many years... until *I* choose to get rid of them. Seems LG has made that choice for me.
