LG LDF8812ST dishwasher

The dishwasher is very quiet, can hardly hear it at all. I have had the experience with the steam vent on the floor, I have a tile floor so it is not a big deal. The stainless finish needs to be cleaned every time I touch the dishwasher. I am having a problem with dirty dishes, it seems every time I empty the dishwasher, I take out at least one dirty dish. I have to practically wash my dishes before put them in. I have tried every cycle, normal, power scrub, & soak, with no better results. A authorized service representative came out today to look at it, said I had to make sure there was always rinse aid in the machine, that it was vital to it working correctly. I filled my rinse aid & will see if that is my problem. So far my noisy, 10 year old dishwasher, that didn't need rinse aid, cleaned my dishes better than this new one.
