Broken right out of the box....

This fridge was delivered a week ago and it never worked right out of the box. We even intentionally chose to buy a fridge without any bells and whistles (no ice/water dispenser) so we would avoid problems. Anyway, we are still waiting for a repairman to arrive. All of our food is bad. We are living on pizza and take out (and whatever my parents deliver to us). I called the store I bought it from and asked them to take it back so I can get a different brand. They said they can't take it back until the repair man visits, assesses the problem and files a report saying it needs to be replaced..... so while they do their paperwork and go through red tape, we continue to eat out and drink warm beverages. I wonder what people would do who had small children that required milk etc.... I'm going to do what I can to get rid of this fridge and buy a maytag or fridigidaire.
