I have had enless problems with L.G. motor problem, ice maker problems, mother board problems, inside light melting and now the molding is coming off around the door, this regrigerator is only 2 years old, aren't refrigerators suppost to last 30 years? Please take my advice and stay away from L.G. I have sent countless letters to have this thing recalled, soon i will put it out for the trash with big letters-NO NOT BUY L.G. Everytime I visit Lowes or Home Depot I warn customers who are looking at refrigerators to stay away from L.G. I have guest every weekend and they all ask why there is no light in the frig-that is because the light melted the platic cover and I am afraid it could have stated a fire because it was smoking; and it also warmed all the food. I will not stop warning others, I paid 1500 for this piece of junk. What would I like? I would like for L.G. to admit that that they made a mistake with this product and give me a full refund, I will not be happy until this happens. My husband and I are white collar professionals and we can afford to go out and purchase another refrigerator, but why should we, we throught we were buying a top of the line product. Hope this discourages you from purchasing this nightmare, and remember I have the 3 door with the freezer on bottom model, but i would stay away from all L.G. refrigerators.
