Elegant and functional, hoping for the best

I bought this microwave only because it matched the LG oven that I had purchased earlier and I had found out that they were discontinuing the model. LG replaced this with the same thing but with some funky handles which did not match my stove. So even though I did not need a new microwave, I did want them to eventually match and didn't want a used microwave.

Needlesstosay, I love this microwave and I am so not a microwave person. The sensor buttons are amazing. when it comes to softening or melting. Phenomenal! I am a major chef in my own kitchen which is why I bought the LG stove. The proof button for rising dough for fresh bread is amazing. But this micro does it all. Throw a potato in there and hit sensor and baked potato, comes out awesome. Same with popcorn. Same with everything.

I have to say I don't understand the metal rack part. I never use it. But I do love how you can put a 9x12" pan in there to reheat and it shift from side to side. And the defrost is wonderful too.

The Fan has five settings and the light has two which both were a nice surprise. It is a very great looking micro and is huge 2 cubic foot!

After reading other reviews I was and still am a little nervous, but am hoping for the best. At this point I love the thing, but you will definately hear from me if I have a problem.

As a consumer, I am very pleased with LG in general. I bought their washer and dryer 5 years ago and have never had a problem. They are quiet and wash and dry excellently. Love my stove. And just recently bought the matching dishwasher which is amazing. Super quiet and huge and also very elegant. Even my last two cell phones have been LG! I'm not brand loyal, I usually just buy what I like the looks and features of. Obviously LG has been doing it lately for me!
