Stylish, quiet, and functional

by   readsteca ,  Feb 18, 2007
Pros: Easy to care for, quiet, stylish.
Cons: Hidden controls are tough for big fingers.
The Bottom Line: An excellent product for the value - $300 cheaper than closest match.
Review: WOW - we replaced a very old Whirlpool with this model in Stainless steel. The unit is ultra quiet we can watch TV in the kitchen again (not that we do, but we could!) The things that attracted me to the LG was price, stainless tub and door, built in ...

Quiet stylish dishwasher

by   opiniondude1 ,  Jan 27, 2007
Pros: Quiet, stylish, tons of space for dirty dishes. Cool features.
Cons: lengthy wash time, if that is a problem.
The Bottom Line: If this dishwasher is in your price range, I have been happy with it. It is extremely quiet and cool looking.
Review: I just got this dishwasher two days ago on 1-25-07. So far it seems to be working properly. It is extremely quiet. My family and I can easily stand next to it, and have a quiet conversation. Where as, our old dishwasher was extremely noisy. ...

If you have wet and not clean dishes--This is WHY!

by   dave7933 ,  Jul 6, 2007
Pros: Quiet running and cleans and dries well now.
Cons: It took about a year to figure out how to get this fixed.
Review: We bought this model about a year ago and experienced similar problems to others that have reviewed. Last January a service man came to the house and said it was just normal for this unit and there was no problem. Well after several months we were ...

No Cat's washing here (REAL REVIEW)

by   xyzvector ,  Dec 14, 2006
Pros: Quiet Operation, Different Cycles, Economical Operation, Good Cleaning, Large Tub
Cons: Long cycle time 2+h, jet dry, poor customer service
The Bottom Line: So far so good, hope mine doesn't need service. I am enjoying the unit itself.
Review: I just got this unit 3 days ago 12-12-06, so far so good. However I did some research on the dishwasher, and now I'm afraid. I read that LG has a terrible service record, and it will most likely fail on me, sometime in the future. I'm nervous, about this ...

Quite, installation not easy

by   dar999 ,  Jun 15, 2007
Pros: Quiet, ease of use, Energy Star
Cons: Installation
The Bottom Line: Based on limited use and installation, this appears to be a good value (HD also had a 10% off sale).
Review: I bought the unit at HD and had issues with delivery (why was I surprised..). The unit is quiet and easy to load. We like the ability to load plates on top and bottom. You do have to bend down a bit lower to get into the bottom though. The flatware ...

Great value, simple and efficient.

by   sbraith ,  Nov 12, 2007
Pros: Simple, affordable, quiet and it actually gets your dishes clean and dry every time.
Cons: The racks could be a little more flexible to allow for odd size dishes.
Review: After fighting with a crappy contractor installed Frigidaire for 2 1/2 years I wanted a dishwasher that was quiet, simple and efficient. After 4 weeks, I couldn't be happier with this unit. It does take a long time to cycle but I've yet to pull out ...

Cons: Simply does NOT wash the dishes.

Water leakage trouble

by   songeur ,  Mar 18, 2008
Pros: Stylish, Ease of operation
Cons: Minimum customer service. No warranty, bought in US / use it in Canada.
Review: E1 Error. This is the code I got after two wash cycles. Since LG does not support their warranty to cover my transfer back to Canada,I am stuck with a useless Stainless steel cube. I tried their tech support to get at least an electrical schematic to no ...

Absolutely do not buy an LG dishwasher

by   timbercid ,  Nov 2, 2007
Pros: Looks great, very quiet
Cons: Motor was shot within 4 months, long was cycle, hate dealing with LG
The Bottom Line: Do not buy an LG dishwasher until they have figured out how to improve the quality.
Review: I bought this dishwasher from Home Depot (they highly recommended it) during my kitchen remodel in June, 2007. The installer told me I had made a mistake in purchasing it but I thought he was just being a jerk. It stopped working with an LE error in ...
