No digital cable tuner

This recorder does not have a built in digital cable tuner. It does not have flexible recording. There is only one positive, the recorder can record in VR format using -RW disks. EP recording is limited to six hours. The remote can control very few televisions. The remote cannot control a Sony television. The remote cannot control a Toshiba television. I have not used the recorder long enough to assess durability and reliability. I have not used the recorder long enough to assess picture or audio quality. I have not used the recorder long enough to assess reliability. i would caution anyone who thinks this recorder has a QAM tuner. The LG 787 does not have a QAM tuner.
