The Bottom Line: Shop Kenmoore and Whirlpool first. You'll save a lot of money for a better appliance. More cost isn't always better.
Review: LG certainly knows how to market. Lots of bells and whistles but how well this dryer works is another story, sorry to say.

Great dryer, but LP users take note

The Bottom Line: Great dryer for the money. Be sure you get a matching HE washer to save energy.

First thing, it's gas. Huge plus. Dries faster because gas doesn't have to warm up as electric does.

A good match for the 2277 washer.

Review: There's not a whole lot to say about dryers. I will say the picture here on the site is incorrect. The DLG5988W has the front-mounted controls (like the 2277HW washer, so they can be stacked.

At any rate, it's got 9 cycles and 6 heat...

The Bottom Line: Only time will tell, but works well for us so far.
Review: I'm probably gonna jinx myself on this. I read the not so glowing reviews on this dryer, but all of the positive reviews of the 2277 washer motivated me to give the dryer a try.

Review: Bought a matching LG washer and gas dryer - spent way too much money. Washer's ok but the gas dryer is terrible. Sensor does not work. Clothes have to be repeatedly dried. Dry clothes on manual for hour+ and they're still damp. Gas will only ignite...
