Dries clothes quickly, partly because of the washer...

We finally got our LG dryer that had been on backorder. After doing about 6 loads of laundry today, I have a few observations. First, like the matching washer it is very quiet when in operation. The amount of noise generated having both the washer and the dryer running simultaneously is less than expected. Second, the controls are just as user-friendly as the washer. Anyone could operate it. Third, it dries clothes extremely quickly. Part of that credit goes to the washer which does such a good job during the spin cycle that clothes feel just damp when removed from the washer.

Other than the delay in getting our unit, the only negative thing I can note is that if the units are in a stacked configuration, the control panel and display on the dryer is VERY high. Both the display and controls are all over my head, and I am 6' tall. My wife is 5'4 and is going to need a step-stool to use the dryer. But, it's a minor inconvenience we gladly tolerate in order to have the space savings from the stacked configuration.
