Excellent dryer

The Bottom Line: Would recommend this dryer when purchasing it's companion washer they both preform terrific. Ease of use and efficiency.
Bought a LG dryer to replace a 12 yr Kenmore dryer. I thought it was going to be a simple pick until I read a few reviews while checking the products finding, dryness settings, wrinkle care, drying racks, extending dry times, dampness detection and anti-bacterial settings, what a change in 12 years. The LG brand I picked had all those features and more, reviews were not plentiful, but after reading the LG companions washer reviews and seeing the quality that went into manufacturing I decided to take a chance on this dryer. I'm not disappointed it has performed well and my drying time has been lowered, partially due to the front-loading LG washer that I also bought having high speed spin cycles really cuts down on the drying time. Not that it would have made a difference on purchasing, but the cycle ending tone is not as annoying as they have been on past appliances.
The drying controls are simple to operate and come with preset cycles that monitor the moisture. You can override any setting to extend or shorten a cycle.
This review is based on 4 months of use. Purchased in Nov. 07 at Home Depot.
The delivery was professional and included removal of my old washer at no charge.
