A Winner!

by   dezrat1242 ,  May 30, 2004
Pros: Small case, high quality pix, wow factor
Cons: Slippery case, no lens cover
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended. If my dog eats it, I'll buy another.
Review: This engineering marvel is amazingly small yet capable of big things. As I unpacked the box I felt like I had come into possession of a precious jewel - seriously! Slipping it out of its protective plastic bag, I was impressed by the quality look and ...

BEST Quality LOW Price!! Take Advantage of Kyocera & BUY IT NOW!!

by   sonicsnake ,  Dec 9, 2003
Pros: Come w/ camera case, lens cleaner, thin, good lens & picture quality, 30fps movies
Cons: No tripod mount, lens cover, video output; inaccurate battery indicator
The Bottom Line: Perfect design, nice pictures and small camera body make this the perfect camera to carry around every day! For less then $360, just buy it, you won't regret this purchase!
Review: Slimmer and smaller than most men's wallet even when put in its supplied camera case, the SL300R is probably the best ultra-compact digital camera in its class. (3 Mega-Pixel + 3x Optical zoom class.) I only research and buy ultra-compact digital ...

Very slim + High performance

by   sebkd ,  Feb 3, 2005
Pros: 3x optical zoom. 3.2M pixels. Swivels. Very slim. Good performance.
Cons: Shots with flash a little bluish.
Review: Bought this product in December and am truly satisfied with my purchase. It performs well, it's extremely fast (burst mode > 3fps), has a 3x optical zoom and fits in every pocket. Bought it for its small size and good performance. It's almost the ...

Great digital Camera

by   darrylhunt ,  Feb 28, 2004
Pros: Small Size. Great picture Quality. Ease of use.
Cons: Buy a spare battery and extra memory cards.
Review: The Kyocera Finecam combines a number of features that make this an excellent camera and a great value. I originally purchased it for its small size (as a replacement to a flashless-and in my opinion worthless-camera phone). The SL300R is small ...

great little camera

by   snpantz ,  Jun 11, 2006
Pros: Size of camera, great pictures, easy to use. Also very quiet. Fast auto focus.
Cons: Body is metal and scratches very easily. Flash is a little week in low light.
Review: Takes great pictures. Turn it on and its ready to use. Everyone asks about it when you use it. Batteries are cheap enough for generic. Very pleased with the camera. Alot better quality than my kodak dx4900 which I sold on ...

Great Size and Pictures, however Buggy

by   yinny99 ,  Mar 2, 2004
Pros: Compact, small size. Quick Turn on and picture snaps. Easy to Use.
Cons: Audio OUT OF SYNC with video in Video record mode.
Review: Camera takes great photos considering its compact size. Battery does not last long, so you may want to purchase a spare. Camera captures more noise in low light situations, and best images in bright light. The true pitfall of this camera is the ...

Kyocera Finecam SL300R: A Few Refinements Needed

by   hwz1 ,  Dec 26, 2003
Pros: Easy to use, excellent photos, continuous shooting, long movies, well thought out.
Cons: Too much red eye, fingerprints galore, too many moving parts
The Bottom Line: A digital camera I really want to like, but there are just too many important aspects that do not allow me to provide a higher rating.
Review: Did you get the digital camera you hoped to get over the holidays? If not, there is an excellent option available from Kyocera that could meet all your needs. The key thing to think about before purchasing a digital camera is what are you looking for? ...

Less than a point and shoot, more than a disposable.

by   zlmajors ,  Mar 20, 2004
Pros: Ultra light, ultra small, awesome performance speed, very cool looking, nice metal frame.
Cons: Lackluster photo quality, no tripod mount, no optical viewfinder.
The Bottom Line: As ultra small digital cameras go, this is one of the best. But don't expect a great point and shoot camera or you'll be sorry. Purely a snapshot camera.
Review: You know those disposable cameras that you can buy almost anywhere? Kodak even has a disposable digital one now. Well the point is that you have a very portable, small camera that you can take around taking little snapshots that nobody will ever expect ...

It broke in three months

by   rlj676 ,  Apr 19, 2005
Pros: Small size, cool design
Cons: Broke very easy, not under warranty, $140 to fix?
Review: The camera worked alright except for extremely short battery life and little indicator when it would die. After 3 months of use the LCD broke just from being in my pocket. Of course this isn't under warranty and the jerks want 140 dollars to fix it, I ...
