okay, but better out there

I bought these b/c I cloth diaper and it makes it easier to get rid of poop. My daughter is almost a year old and we have several dirty diapers a day and I didn't want to have to mess with dunking dirty diapers. These worked okay in that they do make getting rid of the poop easier. In order for it to work well though, you need to make sure that you put the liner in where it covers most of the diaper, and does not hang out the sides. We unfortunately learned this the hard way. They say they are biodegradable, however I wonder how long it takes to break down. I have used other diaper liners in the past, and when they are just peed on, I throw then in the diaper pail along with everything else. Come wash day the diapers and liners go in all together. Other brand of liners I am able to get two or three uses out of if not more. I have not had this experience with the kushies liners. When I have washed these, they come out of the washing machine in a shredded mess. It's almost like washing toilet paper. They also stick to anything with hook and loop closures makes the tabs of diapers and covers less sticky. The one thing I did like about these are they are quite soft. Other liners feel very papery, but not these. They are thick and supple. I probably wouldn't buy these again unless they are the only ones available. I do think there are better ones out there, however they do make it easier to get rid of poop when time is taken to put them on the dipaer the right way.
