Takes a little practice

I just purchased this Krups Wafflechef Waffle Maker. It was the only waffle maker I've ever purchased so I can't compare it to any other. However, I am enjoying it. The only down sides are that you have to play around to figure out how much batter to use and you also have to judge how long it will take before the waffles are done. I've noticed that 5 minutes is too long, the waffles were dark but not burnt and even on 4 minutes the waffle were a little darker than I like. But, I'm getting the hang of it and I think the more I use it the easier it will be.
