A brilliant budget scope.
Pros:
Good value for money, not the scope if you are a mad birder.
Cons:
Chromatic abberation is visible.

KOWA TSN 821
The kowa TSN 821 (angled) and Kowa TSN 822 (straight) are both non-flurite scopes
aimed at birders on budget.
The large 82mm objective lens ensures bright images, the carbon fibre body, which is
rubber covered stands up to hard knocks, whilst also keeping the weight down . The scope which is fully waterproof
produces clear images in good to dim light conditions, with images sharp to the edge,
there was little evidence of chromatic abberation, on the whole a very good optical
performance. the large focus knob was worked smoothly and was quite high geared.
The rubber coating can wear and suffer nicks, so it is recommended that you buy a stay-
on-case for your scope.
I you are looking for a good basic field scope which is value for money, this is the scoope for you, nothing else is as good at this price.
Unfortunately is it not the best scope on the marker, it is quite heavy, but all 80mm scopes are.
