these are the best headphones that i have ever owned. i believe that they are at the bottom of Koss's studio line of headphones.

one good feature of this unit is the detachable cord, which can probably be replaced by a longer one or one with a different plug. the sound is clearly more realistic than almost any computer speakers and nearly all low and low-mid range home audio systems that i have heard. two of my friends have heard my pair and decided to buy them for themselves.

in short, they're amazing and definitely worth the relatively low price.
