I always thought of Koss as a cheap low-end type brand, until my brother turned me on to them. Headphones are the main product Koss designs and develops, so I definitely wanted to give them a shot. After trying a few Koss models around the same price range, but different style, I settled on the UR29. Also, I tried a few other models in the same price range from brands Phillips and Sony. Koss sounded better. These headphones are not the highest build quality, this is the only weak point. The sound is way above average for a set $30 headphones. UR29 are the portable Koss model so they can fold up, still bulky to use as your primary media player headphones, better for home stereo or computer. I'd def recommend these for anyone in need of a low-priced, great sounding, FULL size headphones. If Howard Stern tried these things he'd be hooked as long as he was under the impression they were pro studio headphones, and they didn't fold up. Enjoy the music!
