Pros: Cheap, when modified with regular earplugs block out virtually all noise
Cons: Not-so-good sound quality, out-of-box fit not-so-good
The Bottom Line: If you modify them right, they can make everything dead silent around you- great for travel. The price is right, although the sound could be better.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: These are my favorite noise-blocking headphones, you can't beat these for the price if you need noise blocking and portability.
Let me just say, as some of the negative reviews have noted, out of the box the sound quality kind of sucks and... |

Pros: Not the worst sounding out there, good noise cancellation
Cons: Uncomfortable, possibly dangerous, fall out and are difficult to take in and out
The Bottom Line: Interesting design, but a flawed product. Hopefully Koss fixed it in the new plug
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: First of all, I understand that Koss has updated 'The Plug' so this review applies only to the older version.
I got these headphones hoping for a cheap portable set with decent sound. They almost provided this, although in the end they... |

Pros: Block out some sound
Cons: Horrible ergonomics, possible danger to health
The Bottom Line: STAY AWAY!!!
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: This is by far the most poorly designed pair of headphones ever!
To be fair, I will state their only advantage: they block out some sound. Their sound quality is average, for a set of portable headphones. The bass is alright, the high-end... |

Pros: Very good sound, variety of plug configurations, noise limiting, comfortable, extremely affordable
Cons: plugs separate from drivers too easily, not sure how durable the foam is
The Bottom Line: Despite some vehemently negative reviews I've seen, I consider these to be the absolute best combination of features and price in this genre of earbuds
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I use mine in the gym exclusively, and have no problems either keeping them in, or with discomfort- I forget they are there and wonder why I can't hear what anyone is saying in between tunes.
The sound is as good as any set I have ever used,... |

Pros: great bass, with very low distortion at high volume.
Cons: impossible to get in your ear properly, earbuds deteriorate over time
The Bottom Line: buy these if you're not going to use them everyday, don't mind the hassle of putting them on, and want good sound in a very low profile package.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: i've had a pair of these for a year now, and i've lost all the plugs that fit my ear.
the plugs that did fit needed to be replaced anyways, from numerous times "smooshing" them to get them in, they started to fall to pieces, sometimes leaving... |

Review: I bought my first Koss Plug two years ago. It made my cheap little RCA Lyra Sound awesome - extra bass - I can play it on 'Flat' and still get good Bass. On 'Rock' and 'Jazz' EQ, it kicks butt.
I bought a second pair for me and one for my kid... |

Review: I got these for two purposes: airplanes and exercise. They are a problem for both. Yes, the plug does block some outside noise and the sound is good. But trying to keep them in my ears is SO frustrating. They fall out constantly. I can't jog with...

Pros: Sound isolation. Great sound reproduction. Terrific bass.
Cons: Synthetic foam padding very weak. Hard to get used to. Might be uncomfortable.
The Bottom Line: Great sound - no doubt about it. However, it has severe flaws in the weak foam and the flimsy, tangly wires. Some might find it uncomfortable.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The pair that I bought from the Radioshack was fairly expensive. However, I had to try it out because it just looked so comfortable to wear. I could almost feel the soft cushiony buds inside my ear, isolating all sound, while shooting the audio of...

Pros: Unquestionably the king of bass for budget earphones
Cons: Unquestionably un-foolproof insertion method
The Bottom Line: They definately won't suit some listeners, but for reasons outlined below they're great for my needs. Buy if you want bass, leave if you like refinement.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I've got to make a confession: I love unusual gadgets. And whilst a pair of earbuds may not seem unusual, earbuds with 10mm plastic stalks coming out of them are a novelty. So after deciding I needed to replace my out-of-the-box earphones that came...
