worked great until it broke

The Bottom Line: Its a pretty good deal but not the best tuner. I will recommend it, but on the conditions that you don't want to spend any more.
I picked up the Korg CA-30 to keep with a guitar that I own, but hardly ever play, (an extra if you will.) There were a lot of things about the tuner that I liked and a few things that I didn t right off the bat. Until I opened the front pocket of the gig bag that I use to store the guitar, and the tuners back was off, when I put it back together it didn t work, put a new battery in, and still nothing. Not good at all.
Description:
The black Korg CA-30 is credit card sized in length and height, but one half an inches wide. It has two small red led s (one sharp and one flat) and a green led in the center for right on pitch. It also features a one inch by two and a half inch black and white screen, a microphone, speaker on/off button, an up and down calibration button and a sound feature button, as well as a inch input jack.
Features:
Adjustable Calibration between 410 Hz and 480 Hz.
Plays an A and B flat as tuning notes.
A good microphone and a loud speaker.
The tuner has a quick response time easily picks up low frequencies
Price:
The Korg CA-30 costs around $12-$15 dollars, compared to other metronomes of the same price, it s a pretty good deal.
Overall:
The tuner is pretty average. One problem is that In order to take out the two AAA batteries, you have to take the whole back off, exposing the circuit board and wiring. I believe that the back fell off in my gig bag, and the other things in the pocket broke something in the tuner that was necessary for it to work.
