Clever idea, but not worth the money
Pros:
May be good for a very young puppy (8-12 weeks)
Cons:
My dog chewed it up before she was 6 months old
The Bottom Line:
A waste of money for a short lived toy. Invest in a Classic adult Kong.

Author's Review
Kong toys have been around for at least 10 years, and it seems like they are always coming out with new products. Their most popular product is a rubber toy, that has a hole in the middle where you can put treats or peanutbutter. This keeps the dog entertained, cleans teeth, and helps to prevent destructive chewing. They advertise that this chew toy is virtually indistructable. They now have products for the different life stages (puppy Kong, Senior Kong), different sizes, and also a line for more agressive chewers.
The Kong I am reviewing here today is The puppy Kong. The large size Puppy Kong is intended for puppies 30-65 pounds. My puppy was around 32 pounds when she destroyed it. It is not quite as durable as the classic red kong, because the material it is made out of is supposed to give more when your puppy chews to help with the teething process. It can be purcased at any petstore, feed store, and I have actually seen them at Target as well. I paid around 10-15 dollars for this Kong.
I have a female black lab puppy, and she chewed through the Puppy Kong before she was 6 months old. I would not consider her an agressive chewer... as she has several other chew toys that she chews on regularly, and they are still fine.
This Kong may be fine for a very young puppy (8-12 weeks of age) but for the money I would just invest in a Classic Kong made for adult dogs, instead of going for the puppy one. I brought my puppy home when she was nearly 5 months old, and so this Kong got very little use before it was destroyed.
