Great toy for puppies

We have a nine month old yellow lab. It seems that virtually every toy we have gotten her she has managed to destroy within minutes of us giving it to her, except for the Kong. We first got her when she was eight weeks, so we got the puppy kong for large puppies.

The kong is a cone shaped toy that has a larger hole on the bottom and a smaller hole on top. The large hole on the bottom allows treats to be put inside the toy. This will draw the attention of virtually any dog.

We are crate training our dog and the kong is one of the best toys to have when doing this. We put a treat in the kong, and while she is in her crate she can chew and chew and chew on it always working to get the treat out. She has been playing with this kong for months now and it is still in as good a shape as when we got it. She chews it in her crate and then brings it out and chews on it, she even drops it down the stairs repeatedly (she found some of the treats come out when she does that!). Through all of that the toy is still in great condition. As she continues to grow we will continue to get larger kongs for her.
