If you love American Idol for PS2...you will love this!

The Bottom Line: It is a fun game for everyone with a great variety of older and newer country music.
This is a great Karaoke game for Playstation 2.
The setup is very easy. All you need to do is plug in the microphone and use one of the remotes for selections. At start up you can create your own character. There is lots of body types, hair and clothing choices. There is also an advance feature to create your character using Eye Toy for PS2. Warning though this is a little tricker and time consuming and would recommend just using the preprogrammed outfits. Because this works with a memory card you can permanently save your character for future game play.
Now that your character is complete you have a whole array of music to choose from. The music varies from older country like "The Gambler" to newer selections from Brad Paisly and Rascall Flatts. After you select your song you can choose what type of background and setting you want. It is very similar to the American Idol Karoake for PS2. It has a few added setting though like the County Fair.
After the setting is chosen you can also choose if you want a full or short song. Then you choose how you want to be "judged" for the level of difficulty. As you progress through the game and reach certain levels you will unlock more songs, outfits and characters...
The game is 1-4 players and very easy to use. This is a great family game since there is music from all generations!
