Metal Gear Solid 4: Snake's Last Mission?

Overview

Snake is back and older than ever, the game starts out putting you right into the action, the game has many twists in its story line that make you want to play till the end just to find out what happens to snake. With lots of cut scenes in the game it easy to get sidetracked from the game, but not to worry as these scenes become quite handy in the final moments of the game. All in all I loved this game because of the great cut scenes and its many surprises, along with the tragedies that fall on snake.

Graphics

One of the key aspects to this game is its graphics, I am not going to say it has the best graphics of all time because there are more blockbuster games such as halo wars, kill zone 2, and resistance 2 that will be coming out in the next year. But I will say this Metal gear solid 4 is a great game for graphics, the key aspects of the game are brought to you through the graphics, not only that the cut scenes are more amazing than ever.

Playability

This game is a lot different from your average shooter games whereas, in games like call of duty 4 and resistance you press 1 button to shoot and 2 to use your sight, in metal gear you use 2 buttons to shoot (L1, and R1) and three buttons to see through your scope (L1, and R1, and the triangle button) this can become very annoying because you move slower when scoped and you cant look to the sides so it can be very hard to play this game, but even with this tricky game play you will love this game.

Well, until you get to act four where you will want to kill someone if you don’t have the guide book, it is pretty hard just to guess that what you do is take off your weapons and put on the syringe in the item screen against vamp, so I found it really frustrating at first but I got though so if I can do it so can you. This game is pretty long if you enjoy it instead of just beating it to say that you did. It took me 13 hours to beat it the first time I played through then it took me 7 then 6 then 4. it starts out pretty tricky then the next time you play it gets really fun, not only that there are many emblems which keep you busy in story mode for like forever. The story is not the only interesting thing to do there is also a online multiplayer mode that you will love if you like the story mode. Personally I think that the story mode is better because the online mode is pretty tricky.

Overall Rating

I would rate this game one of the best so far, I would give it a perfect 5 out of 5. The game is very fun and lived up to the hype, and wait for the game to come out.
