Great Experience

Dance Dance Revolution: SuperNOVA has easily become one of the greatest arcade releases of all-time with the newest features, graphics, and some of the most intense songs added to the song list. The PS2 release has mirrored these new tracks, new features, graphics, and even the look and feel of the arcade experience with very little of the sacrifice. There are many songs in this release that everyone playing will enjoy, but there are a few that may appeal to only certain types of audiences most frequent in the licensed tracks.

The song list on the game includes over 70 tracks that will either give the player something to move to or challenge them to push their limits with boss songs that most people will be unable to complete even on the easier settings. Most other games in the series will include a few songs from earlier releases and the same mechanics that have already been played through, but SuperNOVA gives the audience brand new tracks and a new design to unlock the new songs. The online play also works rather well and gives the entire series something to look forward to while keeping true to the quality of the series. The only thing that bugged me was the fact that they had replaced most background videos with stages and dancing characters which can be distracting at times.
