Dance Dance Revolution has quickly become a family favorite at my house. The game comes with a dance pad that easily plugs in. In addition, you also use the Wii remote and nunchuk with this game. The play options include: completing various challenges, which then opens up new challenges and songs, a free play, which allows you to dance to any available song, and a workout challenge. With each song you are able to dance to it at a beginner, basic, advanced or expert level. Once you complete a song, you are given a grade A through E, unless you do really poorly and you may fail before the song ends. When you have mastered one level, you can move up to the next. Although I have been playing for two months, I still cannot complete an advanced dance, and not sure I will make it to expert! However, my 13 year old daughter has had no problems moving thru each level. The other great feature with the game is the variety in songs. There are newer songs, and some oldies. I love the 70s disco songs! With the workout option you can set if you want to play for a certain, or until you burn a set number of calories. The game allows you to set a profile, and keep it hidden with a password!
