Loving the Options

Overall I really like this stroller and it is working well for our family.

Pros:

* The seats turn every which way - this is an awesome feature and I do mix it up! I love having the baby facing me so I can keep a constant eye on her, while allowing my toddler the ability to look out. They also enjoy watching each other!

* The red color is snazzy and turns a lot of heads.

* The storage basket is huge and can carry lots of stuff, easy access to it.

* Parent tray has two cup holders (some double strollers have none, or just one cup holder for parents).

* The seats recline easily.

* My toddler can get in and out with just a hand from Mom, no need to pick him up (good for my back).

* The wheels turn easily and the whole stroller is easy to maneuver.

* It has "toddler handles" on each side, allowing a toddler to hang on to a safe place on the stroller - what a great idea, I wish my single-stroller had that feature. And how awesome for daycare providers who have lots of kiddos.

* The sun shades have great coverage.

* There are 5 point harnesses on each seat, but the top straps can come off. My baby still needs the full 5-point, but the toddler doesn't, so this is a nice customizable option.

* There are bars across each seat that open and swing from either side, or be removed altogether.


Cons:

* It's heavy - but so are all the double strollers on the market that I was looking at. It's 40-some pounds assembled, and when you add my kids, you are looking at pushing nearly 100 pounds. But hey, like I said before, it maneuvers well and you don't feel like you are working too hard to push it.

* The seats are intended to come off before you fold the stroller, giving you 3 separate pieces. You can leave one seat attached, but then it won't fold quite as compactly. This would bug me if I had to use it more than once a day - but for my occasional use it's not a big deal. It does fold easily once you take the seats off, and they sit nicely on top of the frame.

* We can fit it in the back of my SUV, but not in the trunk of our small, 2-door car.

* No cup holder or snack tray for the kids. Yes, I like to give my kids snacks and drinks to keep them occupied during walks -- this is the one major flaw of this stroller... and one I can live with.

* It's hard to find - being a new stroller, the stores are having trouble keeping it in stock. I ended up having to call all over town to put one on hold. Then I didn't get it in time and had to wait 2 more weeks until I could find one again. They are selling like hotcakes!

* Remember how I said it turns heads? This can also be a con - I feel like a float in a parade sometimes with everyone staring and making side comments. Some comment to me directly "Wow, what a machine!" or "That is quite the stroller" --- others have commented just loud enough for me to hear, "I bet that cost an arm and a leg..."
I think it attracts most attention when the seats are facing each other, like in the above photo. You typically don't see strollers like that... plus the bright red color really shows it off.
