Wish i had this 12 yrs ago w/my oldest 2

I bought this stroller in the spring of 2007, shortly after learning that i was pregnant w/my fourth child. I knew i would need a double stroller because my 3rd child is still in diapers.
I searched on line for a stroller that was not just a double, but was versatile and stylish. i absolutely did not want a boring run of the mill wal-mart stroller.

when i found this stroller it really looked neat. i went to the Kolcraft website and browsed it's pages about this stroller and all the options available. the website was easy to navigate and the descriptions were very clear. they also had lots of pictures w/multiple angles and even had shots of the car seat adapter in use.
I've never felt more informed about a purchase until i came across the Kolcraft site.

i chose the package w/the car seat adapter. and in 3 weeks received my stroller. My middle son, who was 9 at the time, helped me put it together in about 10 mins! i was very impressed w/how quick and easy the instructions were. my husband was overseas at the time of my pregnancy so i had to assemble a LOT of things for the baby while he was gone, he barely made my due date. this stroller was the easiest of all to put together.
i played w/the seats, flipping them forward facing to backward facing to see how easy it was. it's SUPER easy! in fact...if i am strolling w/my little ones and a big wind hits us right in our face, i can even take the seat off, flip it around and put it back facing the other direction w/out taking my daughter (who is 2) out of it.

this stroller is heavy duty too. it's built very solidly. i can take it through dirt paths, grass(even wet grass), dirt and gravel w/no problems.

the canopies are very long and allow for a great shade cover. which is important to me, since we live in west Texas where it gets very hot. i like the adjustable feet rest too..i can recline it when my daughter is sleeping, and put it down when she is awake and looking about.

the harness is very easy to adjust quickly, another great feature since the weather has been up and down. it's not a hassle to adjust those straps for when she is wearing a heavy coat and needs them loosened.

the car seat adapter snaps in place just as easily as the toddler seats and holds my carrier very securely. my carrier is not a Kolcraft, and it's still fits perfect.

the handle bar (push bar) in the front is wide and has a great foam cover on it. this stroller is very easily controlled considering it's size. I'm actually impressed w/how very compact it folds up, considering how large it is. I've had a single stroller that was bulkier than the the Kolcraft.

the basket size is insanely huge! perfect for out of town trips to amusement parks or zoos. i like the drink caddy and compartment as well on the handle bar..but i wish the drink holders were a little deeper. my daughters sippy cups tend to wobble back and forth too much and occasionally fall out if we are going over bumpy spots.

the fabric is very durable, and easy to clean off w/a wet sponge or a cloth cleaning solution for tough stains.

i just love this stroller, and i can't wait for my little one to be big enough for the toddler seat. then ill be able to turn the seats around where they face each other and my daughter and son will be able to talk to each other and play while we walk.

i loved this stroller so much that i told my sister-in-law all about it when i found out she was pregnant again w/her second. (around the same time as i was actually).
i had already bought them the double stroller they had on their baby registry, but she asked if i minded that she traded it for the Kolcraft i told her about...and of course i said NO i didn't mind, in fact i told her she'd like it better. and she does.

I WISH this stroller was around 12 yrs ago! i could have used it w/my first two.
