Not my favorite stroller
Date of Review: Nov 14, 2007
The Bottom Line: Bottom line - don't buy this stroller to put in the back of your car. Do use this stroller for around the neighborhood.
There are a lot of really good things I have to say about this stroller but first let me say that if you are looking for a stroller to take with you in the back of your car/van/suv this is NOT the best choice for that purpose. This thing weighs a whopping 39 lbs! Not so good for a new mom that isn't suppose to lift more than the weight of the baby.
In addition to that, this thing does not fold up compactly or easily. I watch my sister fold up her Peg Perego Aria OH! with one hand and lift the 9lb stroller with a lot of envy - so we replaced this stroller with a lighter, more compact stroller to go in our car. Also, when folding up the stroller, the parent tray often pops off - happened once in a restaurant VERY embarrassing, it landed on someone's table! The sun shade isn't as large as I would like it to be and with the way the stroller is designed, it's a struggle to attach one of those large additional shades over the top.
Things I do love about this stroller: Car seat rack is very easy to swap out for the seat. One note - Consumer Reports gave this stroller a 'Poor' rating because the strap that goes over the carseat is not satisfactory. I found it to be perfectly fine, however. Seat is reversible which what drew me to this stroller in the first place. Child tray and mommie try- very handy. Large under-carrier. I like that the foot part on the baby's seat will fold up to make an almost flat bed for the baby to sleep. Very secure harness. Comfortable handle to push and strolls great.
This stroller is our around the neighborhood stroller. As long as I don't have to pick this thing up, fold it up or cram it into my trunk - I am happy with this stroller.
