Good....but only for a little while.

I'm constantly on the lookout for the "perfect" stroller. Like most parents, there are features that I MUST have, but it's so hard to find a stroller with every single item I need for a decent, affordable price. Not to mention, I still haven't come across my "perfect" stroller. The Contours 3 Wheeler came the closest to what I wanted in a stroller. I'll list what I need in a stroller, and maybe there are other people out there looking with similar "needs" in a stroller.

To start, I need a stroller that is durable enough to go from the mall, to the road. Not to jog, but I like to walk around outside- whether it be at a bumpy park, or a smooth road. The Contours is a sturdy, well built stroller that handled all surfaces with ease. Although, it is a HEAVY stroller, and I dreaded taking it in and out of the trunk because it is also huge.

Silly as it may be, I desperately need a cup holder because I always carry water around with me. This stroller has 2 parent cup holders, which was convenient if my husband and I were together and both had water. The tray in the middle was adequate enough to hold me keys. The child tray was adequate enough as well, and came in very handy for snack time.

Since I like to shop, I need my stroller to not only hold the diaper bag, but whatever I buy. The diaper bag can sit against the levels used to fold the stroller, which left tons of room undernieth the seat for bags. Easily accessible, even when the seat reclines.

The seat is comfortable and squishy, and my son was comfortable riding in it. It was easy enough to pick him up, and turn the seat around to face me when he got upset. A little awkward, but a really nice feature. The footrest adjusts, which helps for a comfortable sleep when the child is in a full recline. The angle of the seat where your bum rests is awkward, but never made my baby uncomfortable.

The canopy is great. Extends all the way to the child tray, and adequately kept the sun out of my baby's face.

Other bonuses that came with the stroller are the car seat insert, and the infant head rest support.

And the price, for the quality of the stroller, makes it worth buying.

To make it my "perfect" stroller, some significant changes have to be made:
1. My son is on the larger side, and the seat is really narrow. It's made for leaner babies I suppose. As he gets bigger, he looks more and more squished into the seat. He's only 20 months now, but already his feet dangle over the foot rest. I got the stroller when he was about 6 months, and I got a years worth of stroller use out of it...but it would be nice to be able to use it still.
2. How it folds. Maybe I'm not as tech savvy as I thought, but this took me FOREVER to figure out. Completely frustrated me in the process. Not a one handed close by any means. The levers on the handles first have to be pulled, in order for the top half to fold down. Then you have to lift the base up slightly and hear it click in order for it to fold down. Really weird.
3.Weight of stroller. It's heavier than a BOB stroller- but at least BOB strollers have a higher maximum weight capacity.

All in all, this is a great stroller for all the bells and whistles that come with it. I really, really wish it could accommodate toddlers better. The 40 lb. weight seems a little high, as my son is about 28 lbs and has already outgrown it. For the money, it's a great buy.
