Kids camera at Adult Prices

Date of Review:  Feb 26, 2002
The Bottom Line: Avoid this camera as it provides poor quality images, has minimal manual settings, no manual zoom and is unreliable.
Review: The Kodac D3800 lacks many of the features most people desire in a camera. For example, most people like clear photos, non-blurry photos. I have found it extremely difficult to create an image without it blurring. This mainly covers indoor photos...

DC3800 Who Says Size Does Not Matter?

Date of Review:  Dec 30, 2000
Review: I have held back from buying a Digital camera for some time now, simply because I have never liked the size of the current camera's, nor the price! I read about the forthcoming Kodak DC3800 camera, and by all accounts it looked like this was going...

Digital Excitement - and Peace!

Date of Review:  Mar 27, 2001
The Bottom Line: The camera lets you take great snaps with no fuss, has 2 ways of easy downloads, and is really sleek and good looking.
Review: The DC-3800 is a great little digital camera for amateurs or nervous photographers. It democratizes photography - allowing the photographically challenged to take amazingly good photographs. Its reasonable price makes it affordable even to poor...

Kodak Continues Its Popularity and Quality with DC3800

Date of Review:  May 2, 2001
The Bottom Line: Get it and have no regrets. Although memory space is limited and battery life is short, these can be easily remedied. Look at buying it as a great investment.
Review: Kodak is still the chief marketer for digital cameras and the DC3800 strengthen my point even more adamantly. Small compact and heavy duty, this camera offers what a 1.0 Mega Pixel digital camera cannot. Coming at an impressive 2.3 Mega Pixel, the...

Very convenient camera well worth the price

Date of Review:  Oct 5, 2001
The Bottom Line: An excellent camera even for those with no experience using digital cameras--the picture quality is great and it will change your life for the better!
Review: This is the first digital camera I have owned and it is a great experience. The design is sleek and comfortable, it takes great pictures with high enough resolution to be worth printing, and it has several different menu commands that are very...

Snapshots, but not much else

Date of Review:  Jun 26, 2001
The Bottom Line: If you understand the camera's limitations, the DC3800 is a good digicam. It only has a 2X digital zoom, so it's worthwhile for it's size, battery life and picture quality.
Review: The Kodak DC3800 Zoom is a nice digital camera, if all you expect of it is to capture "happy snaps" that will make nice prints. What it won't do is overwhelm you with features, buttons and capabilities.
Although the camera is billed as a "Zoom"...

Good Camera For the Price

Date of Review:  Feb 16, 2002
The Bottom Line: The camera is a good buy, and will deliver time and time again with good performance.
Review: For those with a little more experience in the digital camera area, this is a good camera to have. The price is a good deal, and you definitely get what you pay for. I bought this camera from an auction site, too.

The camera is tiny--it...
