Would not buy again

I purchased this for my 13yr old daughter for Christmas 2007. This is her 2nd camera as she had to prove to me with my older one that she would take care of a camera first, which she did for more than a year.

She likes the camera but about 1 month ago the screen stopped working. When powered up it displays gray with a black circular spot near the center with other black blurs leading out from it. Kind of like looking at a window that was shot.

The camera was well taken care of and not dropped or impacted. My daughter has 2 freinds with this same camera and one of them also has experienced this problem while the other hasn't.

We also have had to deal with the camera freezing at times and cannot be turned off without pulling out the battery.

I am in the process of preparing to send it back since it is still covered by the 1-year warranty but would rather have my money and buy something different. I have had great service from my other 2 cameras of different brands.
