Author's Review
Yes, it doesn't come with a rechargeable battery. Yes it doesn't come with a charger. Yes, it is a bit bulky. Yes the battery life is short. Yes, there isn't much internal memory. But despite all of those things, for the price, the camera is actually a good deal. With 7 mega pixels, 12x zoom and other reliable options - the pictures come out awesome with excellent resolution (which explains why battery goes fast and internal memory is used up fast). Buy the camera and spend a little more for a memory card, charger, rechargeable battery and case and you will be glad you bought the camera. Bundles are available through Kodak so you can buy a charger and rechargeable battery together with various options for oversees travels (plugs). Make sure you get a case too which can be purchased just about anywhere. I bought mine at Target. But the case helps protect your investment and prevents against scratches to the LCD screen. Everywhere I have gone to take pictures - NYC, Florida, North Carolina, Cape Cod - people have commented on my camera. I bought a non name brand SD card and it didn't work well with the camera. Like with many products, I recommend using a matching brand. It is a brand I have always trusted and again they haven't let me down.
