Excellent digital camera for everyday use
Date of Review: Dec 30, 2007
The Bottom Line: Easy for anyone to use. Great Kodak quality. The camera is not bulky. Easy to use Kodak software came with my camera and it is also easy to use!
We decided to purchase this camera to replace two older units we have already had for many years. In the past two months we have used this camera for many different things; from low light indoor shots to action shots, to outdoor snow photos and throughout it all this has been a excellent camera overall. I haven't had any problems with the camera to speak of and it is very easy to use. The only complaint I would have is using it at night. The shutter takes along time, compared to "normal" pictures (about five seconds from start to finish) and photos come out somewhat blurry because of this. I would recommend the use of a tripod to get a decent picture because even holding the camera with a very steady hand is just not good enough. So, compared to the rest of the camera's function I am very disappointed in the quality of the pictures taken at night. I have previously owned another Kodak camera before this one and it took faster and clearer pictures at night. This camera does not drain my batteries like my old Kodak digital camera did, and it is easier to upload photos on to my computer. Overall I would recommend this camera to anyone who is looking for an upgrade. The price per megapixel ratio was why I decided to go with this camera, and I'm glad I did.
