Kodak EasyShare Stinks!

I just found out that all EasyShares eventually malfunction. I am on my second EasyShare(this one was given to me) and the same thing has happened. You turn it on, it stays on for a minute, tries to focus, and the camera turns off. I was just on the phone with product support and they were no help. I did a search online that said "kodak easyshare turning off" and low and behold there are pages and pages of this same complaint. You change the battery, wipe off the contacts on the battery and memory card-nothing works!
Don't do it!
