Great First Generation

I have tested this printer. It is quite good. There are several improvements needed, but all in all it is a great printer. The cost of ownership is fair and you can recoup your investment in one or two ink re-supplys compared to HP and EPSON. That is a huge plus. I wish it would print black when it is out of color, but the cost of the color cartridge is so reasonable I don't think I will have a problem keeping one as a back-up when I get low. I am hoping the machine is reliable but to be sure I bought a 3-yr warranty plan and it was a great price ( less than a dinner ) to cover me for 36 months. I am really impressed at how well it copies in draft mode. That will save a lot of ink and it is quite readable and FAST. I question the review I read above that only gave it a " ONE Star" , I wonder if that could be a competitor trying to discount the new competition. A good rule of thumb - be wary of people who have nothing good to say about a new product, they may be trying to climb the ladder somewhere else. ??????????? KODAK - keep up the good work. I am trying Fuji photo glossy and COSTCO Photo glossy 4x6 paper. So far my best paper has been EPSON Premium Glossy that I bought on sale at a TWO FOR ONE sale so my paper cost is 10 cents. Pretty good. My last Epson was a joke on ink.
