Good Price but short Life Span

I bought 3 of these cameras at a black friday sale after Thanksgiving. I paid about $80 each. I was very excited about the price and the easy of operation. The "red eye" never really worked on any of them but the quality of the pictures and the color was nice. One camera would starting acting up after 3 months of regular use. This was the one I kept for myself. It would only sometimes turn on for pictures. The second camera that I gave to my 10 and 11 year old daughters has worked great and withstood their abuse for 1 1/2 years but finally died the other day. This has also become the family camera since mine was dead. The third camera which I gave to grandma is rarely used is still going strong. It is a good starter camera but I'd consider it disposable since you'd need to get a new one every year. I guess I'm ok with that since it was on the cheap side and the technology is changing so fast anyways that as soon as you get it home and figure the thing out its pretty much out-dated.
