The Best Thing for Sliced Bread, Bagels, Muffins etc.....

Date of Review:  Feb 2, 2003
The Bottom Line: Even toasting, long slots fit all types of bread. Controls for frozen bread and bagels. Re-warms w/o re-cooking. Easy to clean, easy to look at and PERFECT TOAST!
Review: While window shopping in one of our more upscale china and crystal shops I wandered into their kitchen appliance section. There on the shelf were some very nice looking toasters. Then I remembered the toast launcher/incineration machine sitting on...

Excellent Toaster

Date of Review:  Sep 23, 2003
The Bottom Line: This toaster is good quality product and performs well.
Review: I just recently purchased a Kitchen Aid KTT570 Toaster. This is the toaster that has 2 long slots that can accommodate up to 4 slices of toast, etc. I purchased this toaster based on the reputation of Kitchen Aid products as well as their styling...

A long time ago in a nicely toasted galaxy.....

Date of Review:  Mar 5, 2003
The Bottom Line: This toaster is easy to use, great in its job, and is very attractive. It will make your life easier. Shouldn't that be the ultimate goal of any appliance?
Review: Somewhere along the line of 20th century american culture we americans were tricked by appliance makers. Yes that is right we were tricked into thinking that if an appliance is dirt cheap and is semi-functional then that is the appliance for us...

Pretty...but not a good toaster

Date of Review:  Apr 11, 2004
The Bottom Line: This toaster was a major disappointment. Don't buy this model.
Review: Imagine my disappointment when I got this beautiful toaster unwrapped and discovered it couldn't toast nearly as well as my 8-year-old $15 Toastmaster.

1st test. I put in a single piece of bread and tried toasting it. It came out very...

Worth it, worth it, worth it!

Date of Review:  Apr 15, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you can swing the cost, it is well worth it. Getting married/committed/etc? A definite choice for your gift registry!
Review: Okay, I'll confess: when my husband came home with the new toaster three years ago, I almost ended a 25 year marriage right then and there. A toaster that cost just under $100???? "It's just TOAST!" I cried.

I was so wrong. First of all,...

Does not toast even, not even close. Waste of my time!

Date of Review:  Jan 6, 2008
The Bottom Line: Useless, if it can not do the job it was designed for, what good is it?
Review: I had been eying this toaster for a while when I walked through this one store we always go into. I like this toaster because it looked nice, it had a bagel feature, a warm feature, and I really liked the idea that you could toast large (long)...

Style with mediocre performance

Date of Review:  Jun 25, 2004
Review: I gave up my perfectly functional two-slice relic from the 70s because I wanted a four-slice model. I started with a $300 Dualit that nearly caught my kitchen on fire when the heating element timer didn't disengage during a test run. Next, I...

2 slots / 4 slices toaster...

Date of Review:  Jul 7, 2003
The Bottom Line: Great for bagels... period.
Review: Tried 2 different units. Same problems.

After toasting process, bread other than bagels (i presume this is due to different bread weight and consistency) get shot up into the air and end up on kitchen's floor to dog's delight.

If you're interested in conserving energy I would not recommend this toaster.

Date of Review:  Dec 2, 2003
Review: When you want to toast one or two slices of bread all of the heating elements are turned on. This is not true with all the other four-slice toaster I've tested. KitchenAid, a company I like very much and use many appliances made by them, should go...

A toaster is a toaster is a toaster...I think

Date of Review:  Jan 17, 2004
Review: It's a good looking toaster and that's about it. It doesn't brown four slices of bread evenly. You have to use it (mine) like a two slice toaster. Bagels come out alright, haven't tried to toast two whole bagels yet. I'm saving that thrill ride for...
